VALENTINES!!!

For our Valentines, Cole had to work! Good old Walmart. But that gave me and the kids plenty of time to get the house all ready for dinner :)
The kids were so excited to be able to help with the plans. First we cleaned the house (because I can't function when its messy) and then we made the dinner, bbq chicken and baked potatoes. They loved stiring and seasoning the chicken in the crockpot and then I called Fat Jacks to order some salads because Cole loves their Raspberry Vinagarette! Then was the fun part!! Decorating the Tables! We pulled out the Card table so that the kids could sit on there very own special table. We got out moms SPECIAL Dinner ware from Pier One that have only been used once. Sprinkled the tables with Rose Petals and set up candles, and for the finishing touch, Roses for the center peices!! Carter brought me home the cutest little boquet of Roses he made in preschool so that went on the kids table and then the roses Cole brought me earlier that day for ours! Once we had it all set (which I must say I was very pleased) we lit the candles and turned out the lights and waited for dad to come home on break! Carter was so funny because he met Cole at the door and yelled "Ta Da!!"
It was so much fun and the kids absolutely loved it! They swapped gifts and felt so special because of the whole set up! I told them to get used to dating each other because They will be doing it till they are 16!
HOPE EVERY ONE HAD AN EXCELLENT VALENTINES!!

A couple of Artists!!

My kids absolutely love to color and paint and cut and glue and anything else creative or artistic!! Carter is especially good at keeping it all on paper! Chasee... uh, not so much! Instead she prefers, the walls, floors, my kitchen table and of course her body!!! Luckily I have been able to get it out of every thing, but her body, that may take a while, its kind of permanant marker!! (and its not just her face and leg.)

Because he was 97 when he died. It only averages 5.5 pages a day... WERE IN!!! Are you?!! It started yesterday!
